What is the Miss Collegiate Indy Scholarship Pagaent ?
Miss Collegiate Indy is one of many local Miss America competitions that qualifies contestants for the Miss Indiana Scholarship Pageant. The pageant is held once per year.
The pageant is divided into two categories:
(A) Miss Collegiate Indy Teen
(B) Miss Collegiate Indy
The 2025 Miss Collegiate Indy Pageant will be held on Sunday, February 23rd, 2025 at Lawrence’s Theatre at the Fort.

Who?: Teen contestants should be female, unmarried, US citizens from Indiana with no dependants. Teen contestants must also be 14 years old and no older than 18 years old by June 18, 2025, which is the first day of the state competition. Reminder that pageant contestants come in all shapes, sizes, races! All are welcome!
Availability: If chosen as winner, the winning teen must be available to attend and compete in the state Miss Indiana Teen Pageant. -
Who?: Miss contestants should be female, unmarried, US citizens from Indiana with no dependants. Contestants should also be full-time students or graduates from Anderson University, Butler University, IU Indy campus (formerly IUPUI), Purdue Indy campus (formerly IUPUI), Ivy Tech (Indy campus) and Ivy Tech Trade Schools in Central Indiana, Marian College, University of Indianapolis, and Franklin College, as well as, full-time students or graduates of out-of-state colleges who are Indiana residents. Reminder that pageant contestants come in all shapes, sizes, races! All are welcome!
Age: Miss contestants must be 18 years old and no older than 27 years old by June 18, 2025, which is the first day of the state competition.
Availability: If chosen as winner, the winning miss contestant must be available to attend and compete in the state Miss Indiana Pageant. -
Here is a tentative list of costs:
MCI (Miss Collegiate Indy) registration fee: a non refundable $75.00 fee.
MAO (Miss American Organization) Registration Fee: a non refundable fee of $39.95 (Note: A contestantwill pay this fee only once if competing in more than one local)
Rebel Fitness Wear: Each contestant must purchase fitness attire from Rebel for the fitness portion of the competition. Contestants will receive a discount code via email
Gown and Pageant Attire: The cost will vary per candidate. Prepare to purchase a gown, shoes, jeans, etc (some of these items you may already own).
Do candidates participate in a fundraiser? YES! Each candidate must fundraise $30 per local for the American Heart Association. -
Contestants will be judged on the follow:
Private Interview: Each candidate participates in an individual 10-minute press conference-style interview with our panel of judges. There are typically 5 judges on a panel. Candidates are asked questions about their background as presented on their fact sheet, their educational and career goals, their opinions on current events and social issues, and their interests, hobbies, and extracurricular activities.
Talent: Contestants perform a 90-second routine of their own choosing. Some possible talents include all types of singing, dancing, gymnastics, instrumental music, dramatic or comedy monologues, baton twirling, and ventriloquism.
Evening Gown: Each contestant appears on stage in an outfit of her own choosing, representative of what she would wear to a formal, black-tie social event. Pantsuits, cocktail dresses, and evening gowns are all appropriate for this phase of the competition.
Fitness: Contestants will model their Rebel Athletic apparel to show the judging panel their commitment to their personal fitness and wellness. Rebel apparel can be purchased from the official Miss America collection.
On-Stage Interview: Each contestant will be asked one or two questions written by the judges about her Community Service Initiative.
